Hey guys. Well, it's a couple day until my big showing at Art Walk, and I'm a little anxious because this is going to be my first of many showings for this year. I really don't have any prints I can upload from now, so I guess I'll do a journal Entry telling what's being happening me lately on Youtube.

So I was there looking at a bunch of videos killing time. When some fan fiction critic who call herself The FanFic Critic was reading a story called "Cupcakes," a brutal My Little Pony Fan Fic (Too brutal to talk about.) After listening to that story, and lost my chances to ever go asleep, I was curious to see if someone made an animation base on this story. I wasn't surprise that someone did made an animated version. In fact there so many versions of it. So I look at them as well, then for the Hell of it I look at other fan animations about "My little Pony." They were funny as hell, so I keep watching more for about three days straight.

I this point I know the show is an internet meme, and I learn all of the many characters on the show by name, even Derpy Hooves! At this point I just want to see the show for myself, because I still can't believe that something I grew up believing that this franchise is nothing more thing a girly piece of shit that's only marketed for little girls so they can make their mommy buy some plastic crap. So I recorded a couple of shows on my DVR to watch later. When I did watch the show I was surprise how good the show really was.

The Characters in the show are likable, and have there unique personality, unlike the last three generation, which their Mary-Sue personalities that was as hard as a plastic of the damn toys. The Plot of most for the episode is believable and interesting, the songs, for the first time of my life, are pretty catchy and only show up once or twice an episode, so I can tolerate it. The Show itself was actually funny and entertaining overall, the animators are pretty good but, I seem to find some...F*ck ups on some parts. (Thanks Hasbro!) There's a lesson to be learned at the end.  There's a sense of nostalgia in this show, because this be made by the same creator as "The Power Puff Girls" and I did watch that show when I was a kid. My favorite part of the show is when these adorable little ponies have there mental breakdowns, from Paranoia to Sycophantic. To me, that shows a certain realism to the character.

THERE WHERE EFFORT TO THIS SHOW PEOPLE!!! HONEST EFFORT!! There are many things in this world that are trying to be cute, only to make me sick to my stomach (i.e. Weeaboos, The Care Bears, The older My Little Pony, Most of the Anime in this generation) but this show is different. I actually like the "Friendship is Magic" version and apparently I'm not the only one looking a the fan vids. I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM!! The show, the weird fandom, everything seems pretty fun. I guess it's true when the Bronies said "The only reason that some people hate this show is because they haven't watch the show with an open mind." I think there's a lesson to be learned about friendship, this show seem to know how to present it.

To be honest, I wanted to hate this show, because it's was suppose to be a marketed scheme for little girls, but there was too many things that I love about "My Little Pony: FiM" to me to hate it. For the LOVE OF GOD The Ponies are actually cute this time!! I want to do a fanart on the show! I know it's not going to be exactly like the show, but I know have to do it. This is the first time in a long time that I like a cartoon show since the 90's. There's a joke about this show being the "Manliest show on TV," I don't know about the that , but it's pretty damn close if you ask me. I guess since I like the show so much I'm guess I'm a Brony now!
